The implementation of Resolution No. 09 of the Provincial Party Committee on industrial development to 2025, with a vision to 2030 in Duc Linh has shown remarkable results.

After Resolution No. 09 (dated December 31, 2021) of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee was issued, Duc Linh promptly developed a plan to implement this Resolution in the district. According to the leader of the District Economic - Infrastructure Department, in recent times, industrial development in Duc Linh has been identified as the driving force of the local economy. Therefore, the district has made many efforts in planning, building industrial clusters and focusing on reforming administrative procedures, improving the investment environment, creating favorable conditions for businesses to participate in production and business. At the same time, it has proactively removed difficulties for businesses, flexibly applied mechanisms to attract investment projects, and at the same time implemented preferential policies, creating attractiveness to mobilize investment resources to develop industrial clusters...

In fact, after 3 years of implementing Resolution No. 09 of the Provincial Party Committee on industrial development to 2025, with a vision to 2030, this sector in the locality has also recorded a strong transformation. Because it started from a district whose economy mainly relied on agricultural production, by the end of 2024, Duc Linh had formed 6 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​nearly 250 hectares. Including: 3 industrial clusters (area of ​​65.7 hectares) managed by the State, 3 industrial clusters (area of ​​182.8 hectares) established by enterprises as investors and have promoted the construction of synchronous and modern technical infrastructure to serve the requirements of sustainable industrial development.

Up to now, industrial clusters in Duc Linh have attracted secondary investors to build factories with an average occupancy rate of about 77%. Mainly in the following industries: Wood processing, industrial wood, plastic products, garments, leather shoes, leather sandals, electronics, mechanics, agricultural and food processing, construction materials... From the potential and advantages of the locality, the Binh Thuan Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2050 (approved by the Prime Minister) has oriented to 2030 in Duc Linh to continue to develop 2 new industrial clusters with a total area of ​​84.6 hectares. Thereby, increasing the total number of industrial clusters in the district to 8 clusters, with a total area of ​​more than 333 hectares...

In order for industry - the driving force for Duc Linh's economic development to continue to change positively in the new period, at the Conference on deploying tasks for 2025 of the Binh Thuan Industry and Trade sector held before the Lunar New Year, the leaders of the Economic - Infrastructure Department of the district proposed a number of related contents. Specifically, it is recommended that the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments consider solutions to remove obstacles for industrial clusters managed by the state (Ham Soi - Vo Xu, Me Pu, Sung Nhon). Thereby creating conditions for Duc Linh district to call for investment in complete technical infrastructure, promote attracting filling projects to effectively use the industrial land fund in the area, and overcome the situation of land in industrial clusters that are still abandoned.

In addition, it is important to recommend that the Central Ministries and branches promptly provide guidance to remove overlaps in investor selection procedures, thereby promptly calling for investment to form two new planned industrial clusters, namely Tan Ha Industrial Cluster and Tan Ha 3 Industrial Cluster. On the other hand, it is also important to consider, guide and create conditions for industrial land indicators for localities to include in the planning, moving towards calling for investment to form an industrial park in the south of Binh Thuan in Tan Ha commune (scale of 300 hectares) in the coming time as directed...
