Exciting sports competitions at Quynh Nhai Culture, Sports and Tourism Week

Within the framework of Quynh Nhai Culture, Sports and Tourism Week 2025, sports competitions took place, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate in cheering, creating an exciting and bustling atmosphere during the festival.

Teams compete in events such as Rowing, Tug of War, Pole Pushing, Stilt Walking, Pickleball. Each athlete can register for 1 individual event and 1 team event according to their strengths and is selected from the base. Tug of War is a mixed team competition for men and women with a weight limit of 520kg. Pickleball has 3 events: Men's Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Women's Doubles. For Stilt Walking, the competition is a team event.

Mr. Giang A Nu, Stilt-walker, Chieng Khay Commune, Quynh Nhai District, Son La: " I represent the commune to compete in the Stilt-walking event at this cultural week. This stilt-walking event requires constant practice to maintain good balance. The stilt-walking pair is not too elaborate, choosing very old bamboo, drying it, and carving the joints of the footrests precisely so that the competition can be good and the victory can be achieved."

With careful preparation in spirit, physical strength and technique, the athletes have contributed to dramatic and fierce matches, attracting a large number of people and tourists to watch and cheer.

Along with sports competitions, the Organizing Committee also organizes games for people and tourists to experience such as bamboo dance and tok ma le, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the first days of spring./.
