In addition, the unit also provides vouchers with many levels from 50,000 - 500,000 VND for businesses and partners to order as gifts for employees.

“This year, mid-range Tet gift baskets, priced from 500,000 - 700,000 VND/basket, are very popular and the most chosen. Many units and businesses order Tet gift baskets to give to employees and partners. Currently, the purchasing power of gift baskets has increased slightly by about 5% compared to the same period last year and is expected to increase by about 10% during the peak period in the coming days,” said a representative of Coopmart Da Nang supermarket, adding that currently, all Tet gift basket models at the supermarket are on promotion and have discounts for customers buying in large quantities.

At the Do 37 Clean Agricultural Products Cooperative, the Tet gift basket season is also at its peak. Ms. Nguyen Thi Oanh - Director of the Cooperative said that the purchasing power of Tet gift baskets this year at the unit is expected to increase by about 10% compared to last year.

The gift baskets of Do 37 Cooperative are designed from 350,000 - 2,000,000 VND/basket, corresponding to many themes such as Prosperity, Reunion, Wealth, Peace, Prosperity... Each Tet gift basket has from 4 to 6 small households with many prices. The products in the gift basket are mainly products of the Cooperative such as nutritional cakes, dried mango, nuts, etc. In addition, depending on the customer's request, some other products such as red apples, melon seeds, etc. can be combined.

“This year, the market is very fond of gift baskets of around VND500,000/basket. We plan to design 2,000 sets of Tet gift baskets and currently more than 50% of the gift baskets have been ordered, popular in the VND500,000/basket segment ,” Ms. Oanh informed.

At Vinseed Biotechnology Company Limited, according to Mr. Nguyen Thien Khiem - Deputy Director of the company, the current purchasing power of Tet gift baskets is not as expected but is quite stable, the price of gift baskets ranges from 400,000 - 3,000,000 VND/basket. The gift baskets that are popular with customers have prices ranging from 500,000 - 1,000,000 VND/basket.

Vietnamese goods, OCOP products have absolute advantage

Notably, most of the products in the Tet gift baskets in Da Nang City are high-quality Vietnamese goods, OCOP products, and typical products of Da Nang City.

“Except for some gift baskets where partners requested to order imported wine, most of the products in the supermarket's gift baskets are Vietnamese goods and are the products that are prioritized for consumption during Tet,” said Mr. Phan Thong - Director of Coopmart Da Nang Supermarket.
