On the evening of August 25, the 2024 Independence Star art program (year 9) with the theme Uncle Ho's Words - Words of the Country took place at the Opera House, Hanoi.
This is an activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024), National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024) and the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) chaired by the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine, the Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Hanoi City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee, and Nhan Dan Newspaper.

The program has unique artistic content, depicting the noble cultural and historical values of patriotism and the indomitable will of many generations of heroic Vietnamese people in the struggle, construction and protection of the independence of the Fatherland under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam.

The program recalls the heroic memories of the nation, the glorious pages of history written with blood and bones, with the sacrifices and struggles of our entire Party, army and people, represented by the shining examples of revolutionary veterans and heroes of the people's armed forces on all fronts.
With a duration of 80 minutes, the 2024 Independence Star program is directed and written by artist Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh. This is a grand opera, including the opening act Vietnam is brilliant with spring and 3 chapters.
Choreographer Tuyet Minh said that when she accepted the position of general director of Sao Doc Lap , she determined that this was a political art program, so the requirements of history, current events and artistic elements must be blended and refined on stage.
Tuyet Minh shared that historical figures such as: President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, Minister Tran Quoc Hoan, Director of the Guard Department Hoang Huu Khang and especially the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the Saigon special security soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Tet Offensive in 1968 were clearly portrayed through the messages from the political tasks of special figures such as: General Nguyen Quyet; Minister of Public Security - Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang; Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine - Associate Professor - Dr. Le Hai Binh.

"The artists performed works that have been around for years on stage as if to express gratitude to the heroes who liberated the nation, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and previous generations... The songs were very majestic and emotional, bringing special emotions to the audience," said choreographer Tuyet Minh.
Accordingly, the program Sao Doc Lap also left an impression on the audience with the performance of invaluable documents quoted from the articles of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong published in the Communist Magazine along with a panoramic view of the country's shape.
The program is a mix of reports and art performances, including heroic revolutionary songs, elaborately staged and impressive musical and dance performances such as: Nineteenth of August, As if Uncle Ho were here on the day of great victory, A lap of Vietnam, Singing in the Pac Bo forest, Hanoians, Red leaves, Country on the banks of the waves, the march of the Saigon special security soldier, the epic poem Uncle Ho's words - The words of the country ... conveying messages about national strength, the indomitable will in each revolutionary stage of our army and people.
The audience also got to listen to two songs composed by Tuyet Minh specifically for the program, the march "Saigon Special Security Soldiers" , paying tribute to the outstanding sons of the motherland Vietnam who devoted their entire lives to the Fatherland in the Mau Than battle in 1968.
And the epic poem in memory of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Uncle Ho's Words - The Words of the Country, resounded, making everyone present moved to tears.

Participating in the program are many beloved singers such as: Dao Mac, Hong Nhung, Kim Long, Khac Tiep, Ngoc Hieu, Le Tuan... along with drama and dance artists such as Meritorious Artists Tran Lin, Anh Hoa, Quang Khai, Cao Chi Thanh; dancers Ha Nhi, Quang Bach, Thuy Hien; circus artist Duc Thinh...
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented meaningful gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, veteran revolutionaries, heroes of the people's armed forces, war invalids, sick soldiers and labor heroes of the renovation period.
