The world gold price has officially reached its 17th peak since the beginning of 2025, reaching a peak of 3,072.3 USD/ounce. Experts say that the gold price continues to reach its peak thanks to support from strong capital flows from central banks and demand from exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Forecasting gold prices in the coming time, Goldman Sachs Bank recently raised its forecast for world gold prices by the end of 2025 to 3,300 USD/ounce from the previous 3,100 USD/ounce due to stronger-than-expected capital flows into ETF funds and sustainable demand from central banks.

Investors are currently waiting for data on US personal consumption expenditure (PCE), scheduled to be released on March 28 (local time), to assess the next interest rate cut roadmap of the US Federal Reserve (FED).
