Sharing some information about digital data, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung emphasized that digital platforms and digital data are two independent but inseparable entities. Platforms need data as input, but using platforms will also generate data. The products awarded today are good digital platforms, but if they want to be excellent, they need more input data, more processing tools, and must generate more digital data.
In addition, the representative of the Ministry of Information and Communications also noted that Vietnamese agencies and organizations must be autonomous in managing, storing, operating and processing their data assets using Vietnamese digital platforms. At the same time, promote new technologies such as artificial intelligence and deep learning to analyze and process data, because data is a special asset that the more it is used and shared, the more value it brings.
“Data security is the deciding factor. When implementing data protection solutions, the first thing to think about is risks and risk management. The responsibility for data protection is not only the responsibility of the head of each agency or organization, but of everyone in this agency or organization,” said a representative of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
