The plan and expected content of the Vietnam - Asia Digital Transformation Forum (Vietnam - Asia DX Summit) 2024 has just been officially announced by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association - VINASA.

Vietnam - Asia DX Summit is an annual national and international policy and technology forum, organized by VINASA with the aim of accompanying the Government in promoting the national digital transformation program, while updating technology trends with the potential to lead economic growth and development.

Continuing to receive the sponsorship of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam - Asia DX Summit 2024 with the theme 'Digital transformation, green transformation - Digital economic development' will take place on May 28 and 29. In its 14th edition, the forum is expected to attract more than 2,000 delegates, including senior leaders of the Government, central ministries and agencies, provinces, cities, associations and many domestic and international organizations and business groups.

Sharing the reason for choosing the theme 'Digital transformation, green transformation - Digital economic development' for this year's forum, VINASA representative said that green transformation and digital transformation are inevitable trends of the world, towards sustainable development. The 13th National Party Congress also identified green transformation and digital transformation as the two most important transformations for Vietnam to become a developed country with high income, strong and prosperous by 2045.

Assessing that digital transformation and green transformation are an important transformation 'couple', VINASA representative analyzed: if you want to be green, you must use digital, without digital you cannot change quickly; if you want digital, you must use green, because if you do not use green technology, it will consume a lot of energy, resources and destroy the earth.

“According to a report by the Boston Consulting Group, 80% of large enterprises are planning to invest in ESG, and 60% of enterprises consider ESG as a key focus or key criterion in selecting and prioritizing digital initiatives. Change is imperative in the face of huge fluctuations in global economic and political conditions. Digital transformation - green transformation is the solution for sustainable development. This forum aims to promote digital transformation - green transformation in Vietnam" , emphasized the representative of VINASA.

The organizers also said that at the forum, senior leaders and experts will focus on sharing and discussing three thematic lines: Digital transformation - Green transformation, Digital economic development and Transformation technology.

Many hot issues will be discussed at Vietnam - Asia DX Summit 2024, namely: Digital transformation, green transformation, digital economic development; effective management and operation of enterprises and organizations based on data; digital transformation, green transformation in industrial production; green finance for sustainable development; Digital Trust and cross-border e-commerce development; cooperation in semiconductor industry development; technology to promote digital transformation, green transformation, digital economic development.

The seven issues mentioned above are also the main topics of the seven thematic seminars taking place within the framework of Vietnam DX Summit 2024. More than 70 speakers are leaders and senior experts from the Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Industry and Trade; localities with high digital and green economic growth such as Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, and many major domestic and international brands.

Taking place in parallel with the thematic seminars, Vietnam DX Summit 2024 also has an exhibition displaying digital transformation solutions from technology enterprises and trade connection activities between domestic and international enterprises.
