People say "don't compare Messi and Ronaldo" because it will never end. But we can't attach Ronaldo's name to something without Messi. The comparison often happens naturally, without any intention of winning or losing.

In Argentina, everyone notices the consistency of the players. They see Messi as "the supreme being" with unquestioning admiration and submission.

In the Argentina national team, the players absolutely obey Messi. People even call the players who play next to him "bodyguards". They fight for Argentina, for the country's fans and for Messi.

In Portugal, Ronaldo never achieved the same level of admiration as Messi in Argentina. And if anything, it faded when Ronaldo's peak passed.

But the way Ronaldo responded to not being respected was admirable. After Akaydin scored an own goal, Ronaldo quickly ran to celebrate with Joao Cancelo wildly.

In the 56th minute, Ronaldo escaped to receive a pass from his teammate. Facing the Turkish goalkeeper, Ronaldo had the ability to score. But CR7 chose to pass the ball to Bruno, who tapped the ball into the empty net.
