(Dan Tri) - According to Marca, Vinicius Junior has been negotiating with a club in Saudi Arabia. That has caused a real stir within Real Madrid.
Vinicius' contract with Real Madrid is still valid until June 2027, but in recent times, the future of the Brazilian player has been a topic of much discussion. The star born in 2000 has refused to renew his contract with Real Madrid.

The reason is that Vinicius is not satisfied with his current salary (20.8 million euros/year). He is only ranked third in terms of salary, after David Alaba and Kylian Mbappe. Of which, Mbappe is the highest paid player at the club with 31.2 million euros/year. The Brazilian player wants to receive a high salary equivalent to the French star.
Real Madrid did not agree with Vinicius' wishes. One of the reasons for Los Blancos' optimism is Vinicius's contract release clause of up to 1 billion euros. No club can break this contract.
However, Real Madrid have reason to be worried. According to Marca, Vinicius' representatives have flown to Saudi Arabia to meet with one of the country's top clubs. The Spanish newspaper stressed that the Brazilian striker has received an "irresistible" offer from Saudi Arabia.

The lucrative deal includes Vinicius serving as an ambassador for Saudi Arabia at the 2034 World Cup, which the country will host.
