During the film premiere in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of September 21, actor Quoc Khanh shared a lot about his role. He said that when he first read the script, he thought that the scene where Hoang "eats maggots" would be handled with special effects. Therefore, when director Khuong Ngoc asked "have you ever "eat maggots"?", he thought it was just a joke.
However, when he arrived at the studio, he saw real "maggots" prepared for his scene. "The director said there were only 4 of them, so he asked me to be careful. The first one did not cooperate with me, so the angle was not good. The second one left forever. The third one was the most cooperative and helped complete the scene," Quoc Khanh recounted.

He added that these were experiences that he would remember for the rest of his life. To create a sense of authenticity and nurture the best emotions for the character, director Khuong Ngoc asked Quoc Khanh to live in the role while on set.

"I am often invited to play humorous roles and am also loved by the audience, familiar with this type of role. That is also me in real life, always making people laugh. Therefore, on set, I often tease and bring laughter to this person and that person to create a funny atmosphere. However, this time, I was always quiet and serious, following the atmosphere of the set that the director created" - Quoc Khanh shared.
Quoc Khanh's role had a dangerous scene that required a stunt double. Because he had to get into character to best transform into Hoang, Quoc Khanh had to struggle to get out of character afterwards. Even now, he still occasionally thinks back to his role and the feeling he had while acting.
In addition to the role of Hoang, he has two other film projects that will be released in the near future: the film "Mai" by Tran Thanh and a film by director Nhat Trung.
Quoc Khanh expressed his desire to play many types of roles and not be limited to one type of role. He chooses roles based on his personal feelings, if he likes them and has feelings, he will accept them.
