The project has a total investment of 300 billion VND, of which 200 billion VND is from the central budget and the rest is from the local budget.
According to the report of the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works (investor), up to now, the conference and exhibition building has completed the entire rough construction, completed the air conditioning system, fire prevention and fighting system, water supply and drainage, indoor lighting; the construction and installation of interior and basic equipment has been completed.
The outdoor exhibition area has completed the entire N6 canal and N6-17 branch canal; the rainwater drainage system, wastewater, lighting, internal roads, trees, and lawns have reached 85%.
The project is expected to be completed before March 10, 2025 to serve the ceremony of placing the project's signboard to welcome the 21st Quang Ngai Provincial Party Congress (term 2025-2030).
The project to upgrade and renovate Pham Van Dong Street and Quang Ngai City Square is invested by the City's Project Management Board for Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development.
The project has a total investment of over 146 billion VND with an area of 12.2 hectares. The total value of the project volume in the square area has reached about 35% so far.
Quang Ngai City is directing the investor to urge contractors to focus on completing construction items in the square area before March 5, 2025. Complete the remaining items in the third quarter of 2025.
The Tra Khuc 3 Bridge Project has a total investment of 850 billion VND, with implementation period from 2022 to 2025. The total length of the route is 2.55km. The land acquisition area for the project is 11 hectares in Tu Nghia and Son Tinh districts.
This is also one of the projects to celebrate the 21st Quang Ngai Provincial Party Congress. To date, the value of the completed volume has reached nearly 90%. Compensation and site clearance for the project has reached nearly 99%. There is still more than 1,100 square meters of land for planting trees belonging to a household in Son Tinh district.
Inspecting the actual site on the afternoon of February 5, Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the organization and implementation of the projects by the investor, construction unit and related agencies and units.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that these are projects serving major events of the province in the coming time and are projects to welcome the 21st Provincial Party Congress.
Therefore, it is recommended that project investors take advantage of favorable weather after Tet to speed up the completion of projects and soon hand them over for use.
For the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center project, in addition to the main items, it is necessary to create green areas and build a cool, clean landscape around the center to highlight the project, contributing to the development of a green urban area.
The project to upgrade Pham Van Dong Street and Quang Ngai City Square is an important highlight of the city and the province. The investor needs to invest in an impressive lighting system, plant trees appropriately, create urban beauty and space for people to play, entertain and live.
Regarding the Tra Khuc 3 bridge project, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Son Tinh district and the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to coordinate to resolutely implement compensation and site clearance work.
The investor directs and urges construction units to focus resources to speed up progress, ensure project quality, put into use soon and promote efficiency.
