Nowadays, due to the perception that traditional costumes are outdated and inconvenient, young people are hesitant, and even the elderly in some places no longer wear traditional costumes of their ethnic groups. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen, promote and develop the intangible cultural heritage of traditional costumes of ethnic minorities in association with tourism development, in order to gradually consolidate and improve the spiritual and cultural life, develop the economy, culture and society for ethnic minorities.

Preserve and spread the simple and familiar cultural beauty in daily life and activities, promote the development of traditional crafts associated with tourism development. Promote and introduce the good traditional cultural values of 53 ethnic minorities in Vietnam in a unified and diverse culture.
Traditional costumes are mostly used in ceremonies, festivals, and cultural events, bringing vivid and attractive colors, expressing one of the beautiful identities of the community. Associated with festivals, competitions, and cultural and artistic performances, the content of traditional costume performances or competitions is always organized with attention. That not only affirms this indispensable cultural beauty, but also encourages and motivates the maintenance and development of a traditional craft of women.
Accordingly, the propaganda must ensure efficiency, economy and practical significance, and proactively coordinate closely between State management agencies, local authorities and media agencies, newspapers, radio and television. Promote propaganda, promote and develop the intangible cultural heritage of traditional costumes of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development with many rich and diverse forms, suitable for each locality./.
