(QNO) - On the afternoon of May 13, at the Bhnong Cultural Conservation Area of ​​Phuoc Son District, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Manh Ha and district leaders planted two square-shaped banyan trees donated by cadres, soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district (Khanh Hoa).

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Manh Ha said that these two square-shaped banyan trees were presented to the delegation of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee during their working trip to Truong Sa island district and visit to DK1 platform from April 22-28. The presentation of the square-shaped banyan trees showed the affection of the army and people of Truong Sa island district for the people of all ethnic groups in Quang Nam province.

According to Mr. Le Quang Trung - Chairman of Phuoc Son District People's Committee, the locality is honored to receive 2 square banyan trees on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the Kham Duc - Ngok Ta Vat Victory (May 12, 1968 - May 12, 2023) and the organization of the Bhnong Traditional Cultural Festival in 2023.

Mr. Trung affirmed that the planting of two square-shaped banyan trees in the Bhnong Cultural Reserve has a profound meaning to remind local people of the sacrifices of generations of cadres, soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district in preserving the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
