Women of the General Staff, Vietnam People's Army accompany women of Muong Khuong

Give gifts to women in difficult circumstances.

Responding to the campaign "The Army joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind" and the program "Women of the Army accompany women in the border areas" for the period 2021-2025 launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Women's Committee of the Army, the Working Group of the Women's General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army presented 20 bicycles to 20 poor students; presented gifts to 20 women in difficult circumstances; supported piglets for livelihoods for 10 near-poor households, with a total value of 220 million VND; and presented gifts to local Party committees and armed forces units stationed in the area worth 20 million VND.

The above gifts are both meaningful in spirit and practical in effect, contributing to gradually stabilizing and improving the quality of life of women and children as well as households and people in border areas, the fences of the Fatherland.

Also on this occasion, the delegation offered incense and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Monument to the heroic martyrs of Regiment 148, Division 316, Military Region 2 who sacrificed their lives for the cause of protecting the Fatherland, in Mao Choa Su village, Ta Ngai Cho commune; visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers at Pha Long Border Post, Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard Command.
