This year, Lam Binh district has 106 outstanding children leaving for the task of building and protecting the Fatherland, of which 90 young people perform military service, 16 young people perform military service, ensuring 100% of the assigned target.

In order to meet the 2025 military recruitment target, ensure quality, and comply with the provisions of the Law on Military Service, Lam Binh district has seriously implemented the instructions and guidance on military service registration and management of citizens of military age; improved the quality of voting and proposing male citizens of military age to perform military service; and ensured democracy, fairness, and publicity in the preliminary selection.

The organization of reviewing citizens who are temporarily deferred from military service, exempted from military service, and citizens who are eligible for military service is carried out strictly and seriously. District departments, branches, unions, and local Party committees and authorities carry out the selection process well; 100% of young people write applications to volunteer for military service.
