Beauty Vo Thi Thuy Hien said: "The book Not about me, but about the miracle of gratitude that I have been fortunate enough to experience"

At the beginning of the exchange, beauty Vo Thi Thuy Hien said: "The book The Miracle of Gratitude is not about me but about the miracle of gratitude that I have been fortunate to experience. When recounting the stories I have experienced in this book, I am extremely grateful for what has come. It could be tears, it could be smiles. But all are extremely important and meaningful, because all are miracles."

The author recounted: "My family at that time lived right at the foot of Ta Cu Mountain, Binh Thuan Province. Every day I wandered around looking for everything I could to bring home to cook for the whole family, sometimes hungry, sometimes full. One day at 2am, I still risked going out to the street to catch a car to peel shrimps to earn money. I craved a loaf of bread but for 10 years I didn't dare eat it, only knowing how to save money to buy rice to take care of my siblings. Luckily, on my long journey, every job I did was helped by everyone," said businesswoman Vo Thi Thuy Hien in tears.

"Without our parents around, my sisters and I encouraged each other to study hard, and that we would definitely reunite one day. When I grew up and learned what my parents had gone through during that period, I felt even more sorry for them. Back then, my mother escaped from debt and went to work in a pho restaurant. She would wake up at 3am and work hard until evening. After a few hours of sleep, she would wake up and continue working without stopping. My father went to Dak Lak to work on the fields from early morning until late at night, every day was the same," the newly published book wrote.

However, the difficulties did not make Vo Thi Thuy Hien fall, on the contrary, they fostered in her a remarkable spirit. She constantly learned and nurtured her dream. That determination helped her to study at university in Ho Chi Minh City and from there enter the business world. She connected with many customers in the fashion industry for a European businessman. With effort and perseverance, she gradually built her career.

"I have many unforgettable memories in my life. That is the longing for my parents that grows bigger and bigger but their shadow is still nowhere to be seen. People maliciously said: "Your father was eaten by a tiger, sit there and wait, I want to cry but can't. It's choked up in my throat. Whenever my sister falls asleep, I take out a pen and paper to write my diary into letters, wanting to send them to my parents but there is no address, just let them pile up like my age growing bigger and bigger", the author recalled.

Confiding to readers at the exchange, author Vo Thi Thuy Hien said: "I am grateful for the lessons from those who have guided and taught me, both in life and in business. I am grateful to those who have been in difficult circumstances, even those who pushed me into hardship, I am grateful, because thanks to them I have grown up with tolerance and kindness, and overcome challenges together. The most important thing is to try to overcome all adversities, then you will never fail in this life."
