(CLO) Dai Phung Communal House is one of the typical and unique architectural and artistic relics rarely seen in our country, still intact since the 17th century.
On the morning of February 15, Dan Phuong district (Hanoi) held a ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking Dai Phung communal house as a special national relic.
The annual traditional festival of Dai Phung communal house is an occasion for people to express their gratitude to their ancestors who have contributed to the village and the country, pray for "people's health - prosperity" and at the same time meet the religious and spiritual needs of the community.

The ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking Dai Phung communal house as a special national relic and the traditional festival of Dai Phung communal house this year were solemnly held with grand processions and bustling drums.
Along the main road of Dai Phung village are decorated with booths introducing OCOP products, local specialties; reading area, wishing tree, check-in point, Quan Ho singing, art performances, folk game area, rural market space, flower street... creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere.
Dai Phung Communal House in Dai Phung village is one of the ancient and large-scale communal houses in Vietnam. Dai Phung Communal House was built in the second half of the 17th century, worshiping the Holy Spirit, Lich Hoa Quang Thuong Dang Than and General Vu Hung - who had the merit of defeating the enemy under the Tran Dynasty, 14th century.
The relic site is located in the center of Dai Phung village, on a campus of 2,542 square meters. The architecture of Dai Phung communal house consists of 3 items: Front hall, main hall and back hall; at the right gable is an ancient well, with a source of clear laterite water all year round.
Dai Phung Communal House is a particularly unique relic. The entire original structure is made of xoan wood with a large roof and low trunk, suitable for the space, climate, and circumstances, showing that this is a creation of local residents.

The greatest value of Dai Phung communal house is expressed in the architectural and sculptural decorative themes that still retain the artistic date of the 17th century with more than 1,000 motifs of high cultural and artistic value. The plastic arts in Dai Phung communal house have reached a very high level, rarely seen in our country.
With its unique and great values, on December 31, 2019, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 1954/QD-TTg ranking Dai Phung communal house as a special national monument.
