The Netherlands secured their place at Euro 2024 three days ago after a 1-0 win over Ireland. Ronald Koeman's team entered the away match against the weakest team in the group, Gibraltar, in a very comfortable mood.
The Netherlands found the opening goal thanks to 24-year-old midfielder Calvin Stengs in the 4th minute. Conceding the goal so early, Gibraltar almost lost their spirit and made many mistakes in defense.

Before the end of the first half, Mats Wieffer and Teun Koopmeiners scored to help the "Orange Storm" lead 3-0. In the second half, the game was one-sided in favor of the Netherlands, Gibraltar could only endure the relentless pressure of the visitors.
Within 12 minutes, Feyenoord striker Calvin Stengs scored two more goals to complete his own hat-trick to raise the score to 5-0. The 6-0 victory was sealed for the Netherlands in the 81st minute with a goal from striker Cody Gakpo.
The Netherlands finished the Euro 2024 qualifiers in second place overall in Group B with 18 points, 4 points behind the leaders France. Coach Koeman's team is in the third seed group before the Euro 2024 draw on December 2 in Germany.

France have already secured their place at Euro 2024 in Germany, but they need a win to maintain their perfect record in qualifying Group B. However, things are not going smoothly when France visit Greece on the evening of November 21 at the Opap Arena in Athens.
Fofana was involved in France's opening goal in the 42nd minute, when his pass was deflected by Olivier Giroud into the path of striker Randal Kolo Muani. The Paris Saint Germain striker fired a powerful shot into the roof of the Greek net from a tight angle.

However, Greece also had a good match, they equalized 1-1 in the 56th minute thanks to a beautiful volley from the edge of the penalty area by captain Tasos Bakasetas that goalkeeper Brice Samba had no chance to save.
Just five minutes later, Fotis Ioannidis put Greece 2-1 up from a Dimitris Giannoulis assist. France were somewhat stuck after falling behind, but midfielder Youssouf Fofana shone in the 74th minute with a powerful long-range shot to level the score at 2-2 for the reigning World Cup runners-up.
France could have snatched all three points in stoppage time, when Kingsley Coman's shot appeared to cross the goal line before rebounding off the post and flying wide.
Deschamps' team finished the Euro 2024 qualifying group B with 22 points from eight matches and took the top spot. Greece (13 points) finished third behind the Netherlands, their chances of qualifying for Euro 2024 will depend on the result of the play-off match against Kazakhstan in March to win the right to play Georgia or Luxembourg in the decisive match.
