Outstanding results
In the first semester and the beginning of the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year, the education and training sector has basically completed the assigned tasks. Educational institutions (ECs) have developed and implemented flexible educational plans, suitable for practice, responding to unusual weather developments, and completing the program to ensure the prescribed school year time frame. Training activities and seminars on new programs and textbooks have been organized systematically, supporting teachers to implement smoothly right from the first days of the school year; communication work on innovation of new programs and textbooks has been well implemented. Moral and lifestyle education has been effectively implemented with specific and practical solutions; education on revolutionary ideals, creating a source for developing new party members among union members and youth who are students of high schools in the province has been given special attention and promoted.
Preschool education facilities ensure absolute physical and mental safety for preschool children; the quality of child care and education is improved; actively innovate methods of organizing educational activities, focusing on innovating the working environment to create opportunities for children to actively explore and experience; apply educational models and methods such as STEM/STEAM in organizing some educational activities, helping children to explore, discover, experience, and handle situations to create opportunities for children to develop comprehensively. At the same time, do a good job of investigating children who are eligible for universal education, comprehensively preparing children in terms of physical strength, qualities, skills, and mentality so that 5-year-old children are ready to enter grade 1.
The quality of general education (GDPT) is firmly maintained. Schools implement the 2018 GDPT program in all grades from grade 1 to grade 12, ensuring efficiency and quality; focusing on developing plans suitable to the conditions of the school's teaching staff, facilities, and teaching equipment, meeting the requirements of innovation in the GDPT program and textbooks. General schools and continuing education centers have completed the quality inspection of semester I and 8 weeks of semester II to ensure the progress of program implementation; developed plans and had many active solutions to implement the 2025 high school graduation exam review for grade 12 students.
With these efforts, the province's education quality continues to be consolidated and maintained firmly. The provincial English Speaking Contest was successfully held with 89 primary school students, 77 secondary school students, and 76 high school students selected for the final round. As a result, 242 students won prizes. Through the contest, we have seen remarkable progress in students' English listening and speaking skills, especially many young students who have passed the grade and achieved high results.
The Science and Technology Competition and STEM Festival for high school students at the provincial level had 55/86 participating science and technology projects winning prizes, 44/74 STEM products were classified as excellent, of which 3 science and technology projects selected to compete at the national level all won prizes: The project of Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted won the Second Prize, the project of Nguyen Khuyen High School won the Third Prize, and the project of Tran Hung Dao High School won the Fourth Prize.
In the national excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year, Nam Dinh delegation continued to be in the top with a high percentage of candidates winning prizes (84.84%); 4 students were selected to participate in the national team selection exam for the regional and international Olympics in 2025. The provincial Math and Natural Science Contest in English for the 2024-2025 school year had 769 students participating, including 115 8th graders and 654 11th graders. The contest results had 469/769 students winning prizes. The provincial Vietnamese Champion Contest on the Internet had 4,336 students participating. As a result, 221 students scored 300 points (maximum score), 343 students scored 290 points, and 441 students scored 280 points. The Organizing Committee based on the achieved scores and test completion time to select 15 students to participate at the national level.
In the provincial excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year, 1,426/2,356 students participating in the secondary school exam won prizes; 1,025/1,665 students participating in the high school and vocational education exam won prizes. Key tasks
Promoting the achieved results, from now until the end of the 2024-2025 school year, the Education and Training sector will focus on disseminating, thoroughly grasping and organizing the implementation of policies and regulations on restructuring and streamlining the apparatus according to the direction of the Central Government and the province. Proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee on the following contents: regulations on extra teaching and learning in the province; economic - technical norms, costs applicable to education and training services in the province; plans to support tuition fees for teachers participating in training to upgrade standards according to Decree 71/2020/ND-CP of the Government; coordinate with the Department of Finance and agencies and localities to research and advise on the implementation of the Politburo's conclusion on exempting all tuition fees for students from preschool to high school nationwide from the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
Continue to implement the education plan to ensure quality, complete the program according to the time frame of the 2024-2025 school year. Strictly manage and implement solutions to improve the quality of regular teaching hours; implement regulations on extra teaching and learning; improve the quality of review for the 2025 high school graduation exam and review for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, ensuring compliance with the provisions of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT. Conduct assessments and draw lessons from the implementation of textbooks and the 2018 general education program to provide guidance and adjustments to suit the actual situation and prepare for the 5-year summary of the 2018 general education program.
Strengthen life skills education activities, free extracurricular activities in educational institutions. Continue to do well in physical education and organize sports activities in schools; train traditional martial arts, vovinam, and martial arts music for general education teachers in the province; strengthen the implementation of sports clubs for teachers and students in schools.
Improve the effectiveness of vocational education activities, career counseling for high school students; coordinate between junior high schools and continuing education centers, vocational education - continuing education between junior high schools, high schools with intermediate schools, colleges, universities in counseling, vocational orientation for students after graduating from junior high school, high school.
Organize and effectively participate in competitions, contests, exams, and surveys: Semester II quality survey for primary, secondary, and high schools; 2025 high school graduation mock exam; 2025-2026 high school entrance exam; 2025 high school graduation exam; high school student sports competition...
Promote communication work on the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, the 2025 high school graduation exam; typical examples of progress in patriotic emulation movements; evaluate, summarize, and summarize emulation movements according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Provincial People's Committee; deploy the Digital Student Record Book and the Digital Learning Materials Warehouse for the entire sector; evaluate the level of digital transformation of educational institutions.
