On the afternoon of February 10, comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the construction of the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway, the section in Son La province, chaired a Steering Committee meeting. Attending the meeting were comrade Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and localities.
The Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway section through Son La province is about 32.3 km long; the starting point is at km 53 in Chieng Yen commune, Van Ho district and the end point is at km 85+300 intersecting with National Highway 43 in Phieng Luong commune, Moc Chau district, now Chieng Chung commune, Moc Chau town. With a clearance length of about 34.4 km, it ensures a scale of 4 lanes. Up to now, the People's Committee of Moc Chau town and the People's Committee of Van Ho district are speeding up the progress of appraisal and approval of the task plan, cost estimates of cadastral map extraction; establishing a Land Clearance Council, conducting surveys, designing and implementing construction after the basic design for 4 resettlement points and relocating power lines within the clearance area. The Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects is speeding up the progress of geological survey and technical design, especially for the section expected to start construction. Departments, branches and sectors, according to their functions and tasks, continue to coordinate, guide, support and urge investors of component projects to speed up project progress, especially site clearance, auction, and exploitation of material mines; issue documents implementing the Land Law, etc.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet requested the People's Committee of Van Ho district and Moc Chau town to closely coordinate with departments, branches and sectors to organize the appraisal of estimates and approve the task plan, the estimate of cadastral map measurement to serve the site clearance work; speed up the progress of survey and basic design of resettlement sites. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment continues to speed up the progress of granting licenses for mineral exploration and exploitation to serve the project construction; speed up the progress of appraisal of the task plan of cadastral map measurement to serve the site clearance work in Van Ho district. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development speeds up the progress of advising on the issuance of compensation levels for aquatic animals when the State reclaims land; unit prices for compensation for damage to crops and aquatic animals when the State reclaims land in Son La province .
