Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed a Decision on the assignment of tasks to Deputy Prime Ministers.
According to this decision, Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh was assigned as Permanent Deputy Prime Minister.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh monitors and directs the following areas of work: Planning and investment, forecasting and macroeconomic management policies; development of enterprise types, collective economy, and cooperatives.

Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh is also in charge of the following areas: Crime prevention and control; smuggling and trade fraud prevention and control; corruption prevention and control; inspection, handling of complaints and denunciations; ethnicity and religion; regular issues of emulation and rewards, administrative reform, and digital transformation.
Amnesty, judicial reform and coordination between the Government and the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy... are also areas of focus for Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.
Mr. Binh monitors and directs the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Government Inspectorate, the Ethnic Committee, and the Government Office.
He also holds the following positions: Head of the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention and Control; Head of the National Steering Committee against Smuggling, Trade Fraud and Counterfeit Goods; Head of the Central Steering Committee for the implementation of 3 National Target Programs, building new rural areas for the 2021-2025 period, sustainable poverty reduction for the 2021-2025 period, socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2021-2030 period; Head of the Steering Committee for innovation and development of collective economy and cooperatives; Chairman of the National Councils and Committees, Heads of the Steering Committees, Chairman of the Council for appraisal of planning in related fields.
The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister shall, on behalf of the Prime Minister, direct the implementation of Government work when the Prime Minister is absent and is authorized by the Prime Minister.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha was assigned to monitor and direct the following areas: Transport; ensuring traffic order and safety; Construction; Natural resources and environment; climate change; Agriculture and rural development, new rural construction; flood and storm prevention and control, search and rescue.

National master plans, regional plans, provincial plans; key national projects, basic construction investment projects; economic zones, industrial parks, export processing zones; general mechanisms and policies on bidding... are also areas under the authority of monitoring and directing of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha.
Mr. Tran Hong Ha monitors and directs: Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University.
According to the Prime Minister's assignment decision, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha concurrently holds the following positions: Chairman of the National Planning Council; Chairman of the National Council on Water Resources; Chairman of the Vietnam Subcommittee in the Vietnam - Russian Federation Intergovernmental Committee; Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee; Chairman of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee; Chairman of the Vietnam Mekong River Commission; Head of the Central Steering Committee on Housing Policy and Real Estate Market; Head of the National Steering Committee on Green Growth; Head of the Central Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control; Chairmen of the National Committee Councils, Heads of the Steering Committees, and Chairmen of the Councils for Appraising Planning in Related Fields.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long is assigned to monitor and direct the following areas: institution building, building a socialist rule-of-law state; handling international disputes and complaints; education, training and vocational training; labor, employment and social issues; and poverty reduction.

Culture; tourism; physical education and sports; health, population, family and children; and approval of investment policies for investment projects under his authority are also areas monitored and directed by Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long.
Along with the fields of work, Mr. Long monitors and directs: Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long was assigned to perform the following duties: Chairman of the National Council for Education and Human Resources Development; Chairman of the Central Council for National Defense and Security Education; Chairman of the National Council for Sustainable Development and Competitiveness Improvement; Head of the State Steering Committee on Tourism; Head of the Central Inter-sectoral Steering Committee on Food Hygiene and Safety; Chairman of the National Committee for AIDS Prevention and Control, Drug and Prostitution Prevention and Control; Chairman of National Councils and Committees, Heads of Steering Committees, Chairman of the Council for Appraising Planning in Related Fields.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc is assigned to monitor and direct the following areas of work: Finance, prices; currency, banking; capital market, stock market; financial investment sources; State reserves; State budget expenditure, use of State budget reserves, Financial Reserve Fund, Foreign Exchange Reserve Fund and other State Funds; issuance of government bonds.

The Government leader also assigned Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc to monitor and direct salary and social insurance policies; reorganize and innovate state-owned enterprises; general mechanisms and policies on public asset management; and information and communications.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc will concurrently hold the position of Minister of Finance until competent authorities complete this position according to regulations.
The Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Communications, State Bank of Vietnam, State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, Vietnam Social Security, National Financial Supervision Committee, Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Vietnam Development Bank, Deposit Insurance... are units under the authority of monitoring and directing of Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc.
In addition, Mr. Ho Duc Phoc was assigned to perform the following duties: Chairman of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council; Chairman of the National Steering Committee on the ASEAN Single Window Mechanism, the National Single Window Mechanism and Trade Facilitation; Head of the Central Steering Committee on reforming wage policies, social insurance and incentives for people with meritorious services; Head of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development; Head of the Steering Committee for handling shortcomings and weaknesses of a number of projects and enterprises that are behind schedule and ineffective in the Industry and Trade sector; Chairman of national councils and committees, Head of Steering Committees, Chairman of the Council for appraisal of planning in related fields.
Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son , according to the Prime Minister's decision, is assigned to monitor and direct the following areas: Diplomacy and foreign relations; Official Development Assistance (ODA) and mobilization of preferential loans; Foreign non-governmental aid, foreign non-governmental organizations; International integration; monitor, direct negotiations and implementation of bilateral and multilateral international commitments.

The fields of foreign direct investment (FDI), Vietnam's investment abroad; Vietnam's relations with international and regional organizations; border work and East Sea - Island issues; work of overseas Vietnamese and issues of foreigners in Vietnam are also monitored and directed by Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son.
In addition, Mr. Son also monitors and directs issues of human rights; industry; trade - import and export; petroleum reserves and supply, logistics services; energy security, energy saving and efficient use; science and technology; and approves investment policies for investment projects under his authority in assigned fields.
Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son concurrently holds the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs, and also supervises and directs the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade, Science and Technology, and the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
The Prime Minister assigned Mr. Bui Thanh Son to perform the following duties: Chairman of the Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation Steering Committee; Head of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee; Head of the State Steering Committee on Land Border Demarcation and Marker Planting; Head of the Human Rights Steering Committee; Head of the State Steering Committee for important national programs, works, and projects, key to the energy sector; Chairman of National Councils and Committees, Heads of Steering Committees, Chairman of the Council for Appraisal of Planning in Related Fields.
