On this occasion, Thanh Oai district proposed that the Hanoi OCOP Council evaluate and classify 15 potential 4-star OCOP products. Specifically, Thu Huong Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative (Phuong Trung commune) registered 6 products; Kim An Agricultural Cooperative (Kim An commune) had 1 product and 1 ham and sausage business household in Tan Uoc commune had 8 products.
The advisory team assisting the Council for evaluating and classifying OCOP products of Hanoi City, including representatives from several departments: Industry and Trade, Health, Agriculture and Rural Development..., visited the guava growing area of Kim An Agricultural Cooperative; the conical hat production workshop of Thu Huong Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative and the ham and sausage business household in Tan Uoc commune.
The members of the Working Group also assessed the dossiers of the potential 4-star OCOP product production facilities of 3 cooperatives and business households. Conducted quality analysis of potential 4-star OCOP products in the food sector...
After carefully reviewing the documents and checking the actual production facilities of cooperatives and business households, members of the Advisory Group assisting the Hanoi OCOP Council agreed that 6 conical hat products of Thu Huong Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative and 1 guava product of Kim An Agricultural Cooperative are qualified to be submitted to the competent authority for recognition as achieving 4-star OCOP.
Regarding 8 ham and sausage products of business households in Tan Uoc commune, the delegation members highly appreciated the product quality. However, the business households need to continue to improve production conditions to ensure compliance with regulations. After completing the contents according to the suggestions, the Advisory Group to assist the Hanoi OCOP Council will re-evaluate.
Ngo Van Ngon, Deputy Chief of Office of the Hanoi New Rural Development Program Coordination Office, said that during this period, the Advisory Team assisting the Hanoi OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council inspected and assessed the dossiers of 54 potential 4-star products of the districts: Soc Son, Dong Anh, Gia Lam, Phuc Tho, Hoai Duc, Me Linh, Thanh Oai.
“The advisory team worked in the spirit of openness, transparency, objectivity, and impartiality. Accordingly, 44 products were agreed by the members of the delegation to be eligible to be submitted to the Hanoi OCOP Council for evaluation and 4-star classification; 10 products that did not meet the requirements were instructed to continue completing their documents and production conditions for re-evaluation in the next rounds…” - Mr. Ngo Van Ngon added.
