Cargo truck burst into flames on the street in Hanoi

(Dan Tri) - The authorities of Ha Dong district (Hanoi) are investigating the incident where a cargo truck suddenly caught fire on To Huu street (at the intersection of To Huu - Van Phuc).

On the evening of January 10, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Ha Dong District Police (Hanoi) informed that at 9:09 p.m. the same day, the unit received a report that a truck carrying goods with license plate 29KT-102.xx caught fire on To Huu Street (To Huu - Van Phuc intersection, Van Phuc ward, Ha Dong district).

After receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Ha Dong District Police dispatched 2 fire trucks and 12 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire and search and rescue.

"According to initial determination, the fire did not cause any human casualties, however the car was burned down," the commander informed.

At the scene, seeing the truck on fire, many curious passersby stood watching the incident, causing traffic congestion on To Huu Street.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
