Actor Tieu Minh Phung wrote the lyrics for Meritorious Artist Thoai My to sing, keeping the characteristic 8 beats.
According to H-Kray, his grandparents' love story is the inspiration for him to compose songs that remind him of their youth. Besides, since he was a child, Cai Luong has been closely associated with his life because his grandmother played music for him to listen to every morning and evening, so he loves it and wants his music to incorporate Cai Luong.
“This is the first time I have incorporated cải lương into my music. I don’t want the music to be monotonous. When composing this song, I reviewed old songs to avoid repeating what has already happened. In particular, our team connected with Meritorious Artist Thoại Mỹ to work on this MV together. I don’t feel pressured when working with Thoại Mỹ,” H-Kray shared.

Meritorious Artist Thoại Mỹ said that at first she refused to participate in this music product because of her illness.
