Speaking to Dan Viet newspaper reporter, Ms. Truong Thi Thanh Be - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Minh Hoa district (Quang Binh province), said: "In Minh Hoa district, there has been heavy rain for many hours, many areas are flooded, isolated, and at risk of landslides. I am currently working with the authorities to inspect the facilities, ready to rescue and support local people."

Accordingly, in Minh Hoa district (Quang Binh province), at km121+950 of National Highway 12A, water from the hill along with rocks and soil flowed down the road; K Ai culvert (Dan Hoa commune) water rose about 1m; CuPi culvert, Ta Co culvert (Trong Hoa commune) water rose 0.5-0.7m, CuPi culvert alone was completely eroded and collapsed; Cay Buu bridge, Luong Nang village spillway culvert (Hoa Son commune) water was about 0.6m deep.
In Le Thuy district (Quang Binh province), some culverts overflowed on the roads leading to Bach Dan, Tan Ly, Xa Khia villages (Lam Thuy commune); Khe Giua, Coi Da villages (Ngan Thuy commune); some households in An Bai, Ha Lec villages (Kim Thuy commune) were flooded about 1 meter deep. Localities have also evacuated.
Authorities warn of danger in flooded areas.
Border guards in the area have coordinated with local authorities to put up signs and warn people not to cross areas with strong currents.
According to statistics, Quang Binh recorded 164 landslides and landslide risks in mountains, residential areas, river banks, and seas. The province has evacuated 238 households with nearly 1,000 people from dangerous areas. Quang Binh provincial leaders were also present at the evacuation sites in time, encouraging people to take shelter from the storm.
