Many new rural areas of Quang Binh along the North-South Expressway are "changing their appearance, changing their lives" with two-story houses and beautiful garden houses like in movies thanks to the money from compensation for land clearance. The face of the countryside is increasingly modern while still maintaining its green and peaceful features.
Village life changed thanks to compensation money for highway construction
In rural areas in Quang Binh, where the North-South Expressway passes through, it is easy to see the obvious changes in this locality.
The hills and fields are now forming the North-South expressway. Next to it, households subject to land clearance are compensated and supported with resettlement land to build houses and stabilize their lives.

Currently, Mr. Trong has built a spacious 2-storey house worth 2.5 billion VND on an area of 288 m2.

Green garden house – the trend of new countryside
In the expressway resettlement areas, people not only build spacious houses but also invest in systematic garden planning. Lush green vegetable gardens, fruit trees, miniature landscapes, and fish ponds not only improve the quality of life but also create an ideal ecological space.

Now, with the compensation money from the project, they have the opportunity to improve their lives, turning their hometowns into livable countrysides, not inferior to modern urban areas.
This change comes not only from the wealth of each household, but also from the development of synchronous infrastructure. Electricity, water and road systems are upgraded thanks to the budget from the highway project."

The villages that were once poor are now taking on a new look, becoming picturesque countrysides, worth living in and full of development potential."
