Hanoi Located on Hang Bun Street, All Day Coffee, where the US Secretary of State enjoyed egg coffee, was renovated from an ancient house.
On the morning of September 11, while accompanying US President Biden on a visit to Vietnam, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the diplomatic delegation went to All Day Coffee on Hang Bun Street. "The US Secretary of State ordered egg coffee, the others ordered filter coffee," the shop manager said.

The restaurant manager said he received information about the US diplomatic delegation's visit two days ago and speculated that the restaurant was chosen because of its "cozy space and suitable architecture."
All Day Coffee was established in 2018 at 37 Quang Trung, the address on Hang Bun is the second location, operating since the end of 2019 and located in a renovated 125-year-old ancient house. The name All Day Coffee means "a great and familiar coffee place that you want to spend all day there". The shop has a closed space, uses air conditioning, with two floors, each floor is about 100 m2 wide, designed in the style of classical European architecture.

All Day Coffee is open from 7am to 11pm daily. The menu has 33 drinks such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and juices. The egg coffee enjoyed by the US Secretary of State is the shop's signature drink, which is focused on developing and positioning the brand.
The shop uses many types of coffee beans such as Arabica, Robusta. Coffee beans are divided into batches of 3 kg, roasted directly at the shop to ensure freshness. After roasting, the coffee is ground into fine powder.
Lam Dong robusta coffee is used to make egg coffee with a filter, with paper lining to filter out the residue. The bartender needs to have the technique to pour and adjust the speed of pouring water into the filter to create a coffee with a bitter taste like chocolate, a hint of wine aroma and a rich aftertaste.
The brewed coffee is poured into a thick-walled egg-shaped ceramic cup to retain heat, ensuring the drink is still hot when served to customers. The egg yolk is beaten until smooth and poured on top to complete the process.

At first glance, you can only see a layer of velvety foam covering the top, almost overflowing the 200 ml cup. The egg foam is moderately sweet, with a rich taste of egg yolk. When tasting the coffee, the first taste is sour, then astringent and slightly bitter in the throat, gradually turning into a sweet, lingering aroma of coffee in the mouth.
But when drinking coffee and egg foam together, the sweetness and fat balance out the sourness and slight bitterness. Neither taste is too strong or too weak, even first-time coffee drinkers can easily enjoy it. A cup of egg coffee costs 69,000 VND, excluding tax.
Thu Thuy (34 years old, Da Nang) visited All Day Coffee on the afternoon of September 11 and was conquered by the taste of egg coffee. "The egg coffee is very fragrant and rich, not too sweet," said Ms. Thuy. She rated the egg coffee here "equally" with the famous shops in Hanoi she had tried.
The group of customers who come to the shop are mainly between the ages of 22 and 35, including students, employees, domestic and foreign tourists. However, foreign customers often admire egg coffee more than the shop's other drinks.
The restaurant has a spacious parking area, located right at the intersection of Hang Bun Street and Quan Thanh Street, near Hanoi's Old Quarter. The staff at the restaurant speak foreign languages well and serve enthusiastically. Customers will order at the table and pay when leaving.
In addition to egg coffee, the shop also has about 25 dishes for breakfast, main meals, side dishes and cakes, with prices ranging from 50,000 to 200,000 VND. In addition, the shop also sells souvenirs such as ceramic cups, cloth bags and travel items.
