Ninh Thuan on the way of development

During the past term, along with the general development of the whole country, our province has had many changes, marking a new development stage of Ninh Thuan with many outstanding achievements in all fields, from economy, culture, society to national defense and security... in which the projects have been completed and put into use and many projects under construction have brought positive changes to the appearance of rural and urban areas, contributing significantly to improving production efficiency and improving the quality of life of the people.

Typical projects include wind power and solar power, especially the Ca Na General Port project with a total investment value of over VND 4,100 billion. In the agricultural sector, the Dinh River downstream dam was implemented and completed, contributing significantly to preventing salinity, creating a reservoir to retain fresh water, and providing water for agricultural production areas.

In addition, in the first quarter of 2021, our province held a ceremony to block the flow and store water for the Song Cai Reservoir Headworks Cluster under the Tan My Irrigation System Project in Phuoc Hoa Commune (Bac Ai). This is the largest-scale investment project in the province, with a water storage capacity larger than the total capacity of the province's 21 existing reservoirs. It is also the first irrigation project in the country to be invested in and built according to a modern model, regulating irrigation water by pressure pipes through a closed pipeline system.

Along with blocking the flow and storing water in the Song Cai Reservoir Headworks Cluster under the Tan My Irrigation System Project, in the period of 2021-2030, our province will fully exploit the advantages of natural conditions, geographical location, human resources, modern technology... to improve the quality of shrimp seeds, thereby affirming the position of Ninh Thuan in the production chain of the Vietnamese shrimp industry, gradually building Ninh Thuan into a center for high-quality shrimp seed production in the country.
