According to the initial approach, when Long An Club competes in the first division, they will use the U.21 HAGL team that just won the national U.21 championship as the core, helping these young players have the opportunity to regularly compete in a professional environment.

This can be seen as a special goodwill between Mr. Duc and Mr. Thang, with the support of LPBank Chairman Nguyen Duc Thuy to maintain one of the most iconic and successful teams in the West in V-League history, with 2 championships.

According to Thanh Nien Newspaper, the meeting took place openly, with the initial consensus that HAGL Club, through the support of Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy, will support Long An Club to meet the conditions to compete in the first division next season.

However, the two sides have not yet agreed on the cooperation period. Accordingly, Long An wants to receive a guarantee of support for 3 years, while the mountain town team wants to stick with the first year, from which to evaluate the possibility of long-term commitment.

It should also be added that earlier in the year, Nutifood also worked with the Long An Football Club and football people to cooperate and take over the team to help the "youth tournament king" Nguyen Quoc Viet to be trained, but could not find common ground, leaving many regrets for the fans.
