We met Mr. Phan Sy Hung, Secretary of Ward 1 Party Cell, Ward 11 Party Committee (Phu Nhuan District Party Committee) when he and the Ward 1 Party Cell Committee were mobilizing benefactors to prepare Tet gifts for families, especially those in difficult circumstances.
Since his retirement, Mr. Phan Sy Hung has been the Secretary of the Ward Party Cell for 13 years. Every day, he cycles through the alleys in the area to grasp the situation, especially environmental sanitation and security and order.
In the past, the intersection of Tran Huu Trang and Ho Bieu Chanh streets was always littered, causing environmental pollution and ruining the urban beauty. Understanding the situation, he discussed it with the Party Committee and then proposed to the Ward People's Committee to install cameras in this area.
Shortly after installing the surveillance camera, the neighborhood discovered someone littering in the wrong place. “We met with this person to propagate and explain that what they did was wrong and caused environmental pollution in the neighborhood.
Since then, this area no longer has spontaneous garbage dumps. On the contrary, Tran Huu Trang street has become a project that meets the standards of "Civilization and urban beauty", Mr. Hung recalled.
Mr. Hung added that as the Party Cell Secretary, he always tries to fulfill his duties well with a high sense of responsibility, always promoting the solidarity of the Party Committee and Party members in the Party Cell. He is always exemplary in mobilizing Party members, members and people to agree to well implement the plans and tasks deployed by the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the ward.
Therefore, no matter how difficult the task, as long as Mr. Hung takes action, everything will be resolved neatly and smoothly because he has gained the trust and love of the majority of people in Ward 1.
Perhaps the name Vu Thi Nguyet is no longer strange to people in Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City, especially during the Covid-19 outbreak in 2021.
Before October 2021, Ms. Nguyet was a Standing Member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Binh District and was assigned to be in charge of propaganda, organization, emulation and reward work. Being an enthusiastic and energetic person in the work of the Front, Ms. Nguyet always strives to complete the assigned tasks.
Every year, the department she is in charge of has 10-15 effective models, initiatives, and solutions recognized by the professional board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Some typical models and initiatives include: Establishing a "Group to approach public opinion on social networks", the model "Each Front cadre is a reporter on social networks"; the model "Each Front cadre is a soldier, each Front cadre's family is a positive factor in the anti-epidemic fortress"; the solution "Improving the quality and effectiveness of professional training for Front cadres through competitions", etc.
“When the Covid-19 epidemic broke out in Ho Chi Minh City in 2021, I personally contacted pagodas, philanthropists, and friends to mobilize more than 110 tons of goods to take care of people in difficult circumstances, poor children, orphans, and frontline forces against the epidemic,” Ms. Nguyet recounted.
She also mobilized people to take care of officers, soldiers, and medical staff at some anti-epidemic checkpoints and field hospitals with a budget of more than 30 million VND; mobilized 60 gifts and more than 200 kg of vegetables to take care of 60 construction workers stuck at Nguyen Khuyen Primary School...
From November 2021 to present, she has been transferred to work at the Propaganda Department of Tan Binh District Party Committee, assigned to advise on propaganda work, public opinion and to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
Working in a new environment, Ms. Nguyet quickly got used to the job, advised many good solutions in propaganda work, notably the solution to promote the propaganda of building Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space to spread to all classes of people in the district.
She advised the leaders of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department to organize the signing of a coordination plan with the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on disseminating the construction of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space to the people; signed a coordination plan with the District Labor Federation and the District Business Association on disseminating the construction of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space to domestic and foreign enterprises, period 2023-2025.
Not stopping there, Ms. Vu Thi Nguyet also advised on organizing a thematic conference "Current situation, solutions and experiences in implementing the construction of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in the district in the past time", attracting many reports, discussions and speeches from grassroots Party committees, agencies and units, to find suitable solutions to build an effective, practical Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space that is increasingly permeated into each citizen.
No matter what working environment she is in, Ms. Nguyet still upholds the exemplary role of a party member, wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly for the common good. With that sense of responsibility and utmost effort, for 5 consecutive years (from 2019-2023), she has been evaluated as a party member who has excellently fulfilled her duties.
At the ceremony to honor exemplary party members at the end of 2023, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, commented that each exemplary party member has different circumstances and conditions, but they all have in common the sense of responsibility of a party member, enthusiasm for the development of the agency, unit, community and for the development of the city.
That is comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh, born in 1944, a member of Party Cell 4A, Quarter 4, Hiep Binh Chanh Ward, Thu Duc. Although she is old, she always seeks to learn, research, and invest in her work to serve the people.
That is physician Trang Hong Chau, born in 1954, a party member and veteran of the Party Cell 3, Ward 6, District 8, who, together with party members and neighborhood organizations, mobilized people to contribute 100% of the funds to upgrade alleys 1590 and 1598 Pham The Hien to be clean and beautiful.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, born in 1979, member of the Party Cell, Specialist of the Office of the People's Committee of District 12, always proactively advises the People's Committee of the district to effectively implement administrative procedure reform, increase the rate of receiving and handling administrative records through the public service portal; promptly advises, synthesizes reports, and documents on implementing tasks according to the program, plan, and direction of the City People's Committee on administrative reform, and controls administrative procedures to units.
Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc said that the exemplary, creative and effective actions of exemplary party members will spread to cadres, party members and people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws.
