NDO - On December 12, the market was upbeat right from the opening with green dominating most industry groups, but demand was not high so the general index could not break out. At the end of the session, selling pressure increased sharply in bluechip stocks, in which the codes: ACB, CTG, GAS, HPG, POW, SAB, SHB, SSI, VHM, VIB, VIC, VRE turned red, causing the VN-Index to shake and lose 1.51 points to 1,267.35 points at the close of the session.
On the HoSE floor, the order matching value of this session was equivalent to the previous session, reaching more than VND 11,633.04 billion.
Foreign investors net sold 285 billion VND on HoSE. On the buying side, TCB shares were bought the most with a value of more than 94 billion VND, followed by HDB (73 billion VND), VTP (29 billion VND)... On the contrary, FPT was sold the most (116 billion VND), followed by MSN (50 billion VND), FRT (45 billion VND),...
Today's session, bluechip stocks improved in the morning but were sold off heavily at the end of the session. The VN30 group of stocks ended the session with 11 stocks increasing, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing.
Of which, BVH increased 1.34% to VND52,900/share, HDB increased 1.27%.
Codes: BCM, GVR, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VNM, VPB increased slightly.
Four codes stopped at reference: BID, MBB, MWG, VJC.
In the opposite direction, PLX decreased by 1.25%.
The remaining codes: ACB, CTG, FPT, GAS, HPG, MSN, POW, SAB, SHB, SSI, VHM, VIB, VIC, VRE decreased slightly.
In terms of industry groups, steel stocks, except for VCA, continued to increase to the ceiling price of VND17,600/share, HMC stopped at the reference price, the rest all decreased. Specifically, SMC decreased by 1.53%, TLH decreased by 1.26%. The remaining codes: DTL, HPG, HSG, NKG decreased slightly.
The securities group traded inactively with mostly slight fluctuations. Specifically, DSE increased by 1.6%, APG, BSI, VDS, VND increased slightly, TVB and VIX remained unchanged. On the contrary, ORS decreased by 1%, the remaining codes: AGR, CTS, FTS, HCM, SSI, TCI, TVS, VCI decreased slightly.
Banking stocks traded differently. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, the remaining codes: EIB increased by 2.6%, LPB decreased by 1.49%, MSB stopped at reference, OCB and NAB both decreased slightly.
Real estate stocks closed the session in red. Of which, VRC hit the floor to VND12,500/share, CKG fell 2.56%, CRE fell 2.75%, NBB fell 6.7%, NVT fell 2.73%, SCR fell 2.9%, TIX fell 5%,... On the contrary, FDC still hit the ceiling to VND14,650/share.
Besides, industry groups such as: raw materials, transportation, utilities, telecommunications, information technology, consumer goods and decoration were immersed in red.
On the other hand, the following sectors: insurance; capital goods; food, beverages and tobacco; energy; and health care closed in the green.
Notably, this session, RYG shares of Hoang Gia Production and Investment Joint Stock Company, with the first trading session on the stock exchange, reference price of 15,000 VND, increased by 12% to 16,800 VND.
* The Vietnamese stock market index struggled at the end of the session today, VNXALL-Index closed down 2.19 points (-0.10%), to 2,108.05 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 554.23 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 13,922.13 billion. In the whole market, there were 146 stocks increasing in price, 102 stocks remaining unchanged and 217 stocks decreasing in price.
* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 227.99 points, down 0.19 points (-0.08%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 46.28 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND874.44 billion. The entire floor had 70 stocks increasing, 73 stocks remaining unchanged and 85 stocks decreasing.
The HNX30 index closed down 0.74 points (-0.15%) to 484.74 points. Trading volume reached about 26.10 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND660.47 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 10 stocks increasing, 9 stocks remaining unchanged and 11 stocks decreasing.
On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index decreased, closing at 92.68 points, down 0.06 points (-0.07%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 32.51 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 456.29 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 154 stocks increasing, 104 stocks remaining unchanged and 99 stocks decreasing.
* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 1.51 points (-0.12%) to 1,267.35 points. Liquidity reached over 553.80 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND13,472.05 billion. The entire floor had 151 stocks increasing, 82 stocks remaining unchanged and 230 stocks decreasing.
The VN30 Index decreased by 0.93 points (-0.07%) to 1,335.55 points. Liquidity reached more than 203.37 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND5,845.10 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 11 stocks increasing, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing.
The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are VPB (over 23.03 million units), HPG (over 20.96 million units), BCG (over 18.70 million units), TCB (over 18.54 million units), TPB (over 17.35 million units).
