A giant python slithered onto the hood of a white pickup truck, shocking passersby.
The incident occurred on January 30 at the busy Wang To intersection in Trang province, Thailand.
The 13ft (about 4m) reticulated python escaped from its bag while being transported to a rescue facility and slithered out.
Footage shows the animal slithering across the hood and windshield of the white pickup truck.
The snake was then lured out of the car and onto the sidewalk, where animal rescue volunteers captured it with a noose.
"The truck is owned by the Thung Khai Sub-district Administration. The python escaped from the back of the truck. The bag was not tied tightly enough so the animal escaped," said Chaloempol Madaeng, a delivery driver.
Luckily, no one was injured in the incident and the python was released back into the forest afterwards.
According to Newsflare , reticulated pythons are found throughout Southeast Asia. They live in forests, swamps, canals, and even in cities, which puts them in conflict with humans. This species is one of the largest snakes in the world and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats, and other snakes.
