Our lives always have many precious good things and one of those precious things is human kindness. They may be just ordinary people but have noble deeds, contributing to the community to share with the poor, helping them rise up in life. Each work, each small action with that meaning of each individual has resonated, multiplied the good things, so that love and kindness bloom in life.

Act from the heart
“With the spirit of mutual love, a piece of food when hungry is worth a package when full, showing the spirit of the children of the homeland of King Hung, I really hope that the members of the Chuyen Hung Vuong group, class 2000-2003, join hands to help everyone in Phu Tho who is facing difficulties and calamities during the recent flood, in the spirit of volunteerism, whoever has a lot contributes a lot, whoever has a little contributes a little, all are precious” (quoted from the Chuyen Hung Vuong group, class 2000-2003).
Just one text message, more than ten days later, there were hundreds of supports from members of the group, from those currently living and working in Phu Tho to those living and working thousands of kilometers away, all with a view to the homeland. A detailed charity plan was built with a journey to bring love back to the homeland.
Nearly 110 million VND in cash, 1.3 tons of rice, along with many essential necessities, notebooks, school supplies, and clothes were handed over to people in Ha Hoa district by the students of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, class of 2000-2003. These gifts were timely to help people overcome difficulties caused by Typhoon Yagi.
The Alumni Association of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, class of 2000-2003, presented health insurance cards to all students of Dan Thuong 1 Primary School, Ha Hoa District.
Sharing about this "unexpected" charity trip, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - a former student of the 2000-2003 class of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted said: "The trip was planned in record time, I also did not think that the members of the class would support this idea so quickly. The work of connecting with local authorities, transporting rice, books, notebooks and clothes also received the sharing of many benefactors. On the day of the activity, many cases that arose during the gift giving process were also directly supported by the members of the group. I am really happy because I have carried out a meaningful program for my hometown with my friends".
Starting from the activities of members working in the hair industry in Doan Hung district by organizing free haircuts for patients at hospitals and the provincial Social Protection Center since 2014, gradually with the desire to share love with people in society, the members participating are more diverse in composition and activities are also organized in many fields, in September 2021, the Doan Hung Loving Volunteer Club (also known as the Doan Hung Loving Volunteer Club) was officially established with 28 members.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hoang - Club Chairman said: “The members of the Club come together out of love, want to participate in humanitarian and charitable activities and operate on a voluntary basis. Currently, we continue to maintain the activities from the first day of the initiative, which is the free haircut program. In addition, members also regularly connect and organize many meaningful humanitarian and charitable activities, bringing joy and happiness to poor families, patients in difficult circumstances, lonely elderly people, and vulnerable people in the community... In addition to the activities organized in the province, in the past, we have also organized donations and gifts for people in flood-hit areas in Yen Bai, Lao Cai, and Tuyen Quang with a total value of about 500 million VND”.
Although each member has different jobs, whenever there is a difficult situation or a case that needs help, information is shared and everyone tries to support and connect with benefactors to promptly give love to help them overcome the current difficulties.

Thanh Thuy Volunteer Group was established in 2017. That was the time after a group of friends participated in a relief program in Muong La, Son La province ended, everyone sat down to discuss and decided to establish a volunteer group to organize many humanitarian and charitable programs on a larger scale, organized more systematically and thoughtfully. After 7 years of operation from 10 initial members, up to now there are 160 members participating in the group.
Mr. Bui Anh Duy - Deputy Head of Thanh Thuy Volunteer Group said: “Not only has the group increased in number, its activities have also diversified in more areas. Currently, the volunteer group is maintaining a program of giving free meals to patients in difficult circumstances at Thanh Thuy District Medical Center. On anniversaries, holidays and Lunar New Year, the group organizes visits and presents gifts to war veterans, wounded soldiers, families with preferential policies, victims of Agent Orange, and poor households. At the beginning of new school years, the group organizes scholarships for disadvantaged students and children of families with preferential policies. With many activities maintained over the years, we have now connected with many benefactors to accompany the group in volunteer activities.”
Sharing about upcoming plans, members of Thanh Thuy Volunteer Group all hope that each person will continue to maintain their passion for volunteer activities to unite and maintain regular activities to mobilize support to build charity houses for families of meritorious people and single-parent households. Each member strives to have more meaningful volunteer programs, spreading love to many people.
Doan Hung Charity Club lovingly donated money to support the construction of a house of gratitude for Mr. Cao Hai Tuyen's family, Tieu Son commune, Doan Hung district.
Currently doing very busy business, but Mr. Nguyen Tien Luong - Vice Chairman of Doan Hung Charity Club still arranges time to participate in activities. He shared: “Although we have only been officially operating for 3 years, there are many people accompanying us. To gain that trust, the group's activities are public and transparent. For difficult cases, the Club assigns members to survey the subjects, contact local authorities to verify the circumstances. The Club also regularly coordinates with the Red Cross Society to join hands to help disadvantaged people in the province and other localities. After each program, we have a summary and announcement through information channels. On each trip, on each journey, I feel the positive energy that I and the members of the Club have been welcomed and appreciated by the recipients. That is the joy and motivation for us to continue the journey of spreading love".
Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hong - Chairman of the Red Cross Association of Doan Hung district said: “With practical actions imbued with humanity, the Red Cross Association of the district, as a bridge, has connected thousands of hearts of sharing and volunteering to multiply charitable actions, enhancing the beauty of humanity. The meaningful deeds and actions of organizations, individuals and philanthropists in recent times for disadvantaged situations in society have actively contributed to evoking the traditional spirit of “The whole leaves cover the torn leaves” of our nation. In particular, the activities of Red Cross volunteer clubs, teams and groups have demonstrated their core, active and pioneering role in implementing humanitarian activities; being a reliable bridge between organizations, individuals and philanthropists and people in difficult circumstances”.
From the shining examples and kind deeds of each person, each organization and unit, the message of humanity has been strongly spread to the community. It can be seen that beautiful gestures and people who know how to live for the community are considered "seeds" of humanity, making the society flourish and nurture more love, happiness and a better place. And certainly in today's life, there are still many hearts that are silently beautifying life with a heart of love and sharing, contributing to join hands with local authorities to do a good job of social security, sustainable poverty reduction and improving the quality of people's lives.
