The starting price of this land is over 108 billion VND. Of which, the starting price of land use rights is over 103.4 billion VND and the starting price of assets on the land is nearly 4.7 billion VND (excluding VAT).
The land is intended for medical use to implement a 200-bed general hospital project. This is also the first land auction that Ba Ria - Vung Tau province will organize in 2024.
According to regulations, the auction will be conducted in at least 2 rounds (no maximum limit) by direct voting, with an upward bid of 2.162 billion VND. Auction participants must deposit more than 21.6 billion VND in advance.
Through assessment, there were 3 individuals eligible to participate in the auction, but only 2 individuals paid a deposit to participate in the auction: Mr. NHAT (residing in District 8, HCMC) and Ms. NTHA (residing in District 3, HCMC).
In the first round of auction, two valid bids were VND 108,135,089,000 and VND 108,130,099,000 respectively. In the second round of auction, the bids were VND 110.299 billion and VND 110.32 billion respectively. In the third round of auction, both participants asked to stop bidding and paid the highest bid in round 2. As a result, Ms. A. won the auction for the right to use the above land with a price of VND 110.32 billion.

In 2024, Ba Ria - Vung Tau plans to auction 9 land plots managed by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center with a total area of about 102.54 hectares (meeting legal conditions on land, planning, construction, and connecting infrastructure), including 2 land plots auctioned for medical purposes, 1 land plot auctioned for housing projects (urban areas) and 6 land plots auctioned for commercial and service purposes.
However, up to now, the auction progress is slower than planned. Currently, only 2/9 plots of land have determined the starting price for the auction. The reason for the delay is that the detailed planning 1/500 was approved later than planned.
