The State Securities Commission has just announced that it has issued Decision No. 63/QD-XPHC on administrative sanctions in the field of securities and the securities market against Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hanh (HCMC). Ms. Hanh is related to Mr. Dang Quang Hanh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tan Tao Investment and Industry Joint Stock Company (stock code ITA) but has repeatedly traded this stock without reporting.

Specifically, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hanh was fined more than VND 1,014 billion for failing to report the expected transaction. Ms. Hanh traded 5,795,200 shares (bought 1,104,700 shares and sold 4,690,500 ITA shares) in June 2022; sold 520,000 ITA shares in July 2022 and sold 88,000 ITA shares in September 2022 but did not report before the transaction. In addition to the fine, Ms. Hanh was suspended from securities trading activities for a period of 3.5 months as prescribed.

In addition, on January 19, the State Securities Commission also issued a decision to impose administrative sanctions on 12 organizations and individuals involved in the stock manipulation case at Louis Holdings Joint Stock Company of Mr. Do Thanh Nhan.

Specifically, the State Securities Commission issued a Decision to impose administrative sanctions on 12 organizations and individuals including: Louis Holdings Joint Stock Company; The Golden Group Joint Stock Company (former name: Louis Capital Joint Stock Company) and 10 individuals all residing in Ho Chi Minh City such as Ha Nguyen Uyen; Huynh Nguyen Huong Tra; Ngo Thi Hoai Thanh; Ngo Thi Hoai Thuong; Nguyen Thi Kieu Lien; Nguyen Thi Minh Hiep; Phan Thi Nga; Phan Thi Thanh Sen; Phan Thi Thuong; Le Quang Nhuan.

Accordingly, the securities transactions of 12 organizations and individuals on 12 accounts opened at Tri Viet Securities Company and 2 accounts opened at APG Securities Company were suspended for a period of 9 months due to lending accounts to others to trade securities, leading to manipulation of the securities market (the 12 organizations and individuals mentioned above lent accounts to Mr. Do Thanh Nhan to trade securities, leading to manipulation of the securities market for securities codes BII and TGG of Mr. Do Thanh Nhan).

At the same time, the above organizations and individuals are also banned from trading securities for a period of 2 years and banned from holding positions at securities companies, securities investment fund management companies, branches of foreign securities companies and fund management companies in Vietnam, and securities investment companies for a period of 2 years from January 19.
