Panamanian beauty eliminated from Miss Universe

On November 1, the Miss Universe homepage officially announced that Italy Mora, Miss Panama, was eliminated from the Miss Universe 2024 contest.

"The Miss Universe Organization regrets to announce the withdrawal of Miss Panama from the Miss Universe 2024 competition. This decision was made after a thorough evaluation by our disciplinary committee. The disciplinary committee, based on the information gathered and evaluated, concluded that withdrawal is the most appropriate action at this time," Miss Universe announced.

Miss Panama's sudden disqualification, despite having previously traveled to Mexico to receive her sash, caused controversy among many viewers.
