For the country to develop, it is necessary to streamline the apparatus, reduce unnecessary procedures; and select qualified people to take on the job. In recent days, we have been following information on television and in the press and have seen very clearly the innovation in the personnel work of our Party. We, the people, are very excited and have absolute confidence in the leadership of the Party.”

Many officials in Thanh Hoa apply for early retirement

Specifically, on the afternoon of February 28, Thanh Hoa City announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on early retirement according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government from March 1, 2025 for Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Mr. Le Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee.

Talking to reporters of Cong Thuong Newspaper, Mr. Le Anh Tuan - former Standing Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa City Party Committee - who has just received the decision to retire early, shared: "Implementing the Party's policy on streamlining the apparatus, I personally wish to retire 22 months early to facilitate the arrangement of the apparatus, creating opportunities for the younger generations to strive."

Previously, Ms. Bui Thi Muoi, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, also wished to retire early to make it easier for agencies and organizations to reorganize and streamline their apparatus. The fact that dozens of cadres in Thanh Hoa province proactively and voluntarily asked to retire early shows their exemplary behavior, responsibility, and high consensus with the major policies of the Party and State.

It can be affirmed that the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus; merging some provincial-level units, not organizing at the district level, merging some commune-level units are policies of the Party and State that are public, transparent and highly supported by the people.
