On May 25, according to information from Bac Giang Provincial Police, Hiep Hoa District Police Investigation Police are temporarily detaining Hua Van Huy for the crime of "Robbery".

Previously, at around 6:00 p.m. on May 24, Hiep Hoa District Police received a report from Mr. NTK (born in 1966, working as a motorbike taxi driver in Tien Du District, Bac Ninh Province).

According to the report, in the afternoon of the same day, Mr. K. accepted to take a young man to the Song Cau dike area (in Chau Minh commune, Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province).

When arriving at the deserted dike area, the young man used a sharp knife to attack and steal Mr. K's blue Honda Wave motorbike, license plate 99C1-535.87, and then left the scene.

Through verification, the police identified the suspect as Hua Van Huy (31 years old, residing in Tan Duong commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province). About 6 hours after committing the crime, in the early morning of May 25, Huy was arrested by the police while hiding in a rented room in Hoan Son commune (Tien Du district, Bac Ninh).

According to authorities, Huy had no job and was addicted to gambling, leading to debt. Because he needed money to pay off his debt and spend, Huy came up with the idea of ​​hiring Mr. NTK's motorbike taxi to a deserted place to commit the robbery.

After committing the crime, Huy took the stolen motorbike to a pawn shop located in Van Duong ward (Bac Ninh city) for 4.5 million VND.
