Suspecting persecution, female medical worker in Bac Lieu posts suicide clip

The initial reason was that Ms. D. was upset with the decision of the leaders of Phuoc Long District Medical Center to assign her a new task.

Phuoc Long District Police mobilized Ms. D's family to ensure security and order.

Immediately afterwards, Ms. D. was transferred to the Emergency Department of Phuoc Long District Medical Center for timely treatment. Currently, Ms. D.'s health is stable and she is being monitored and treated at Phuoc Long District Medical Center.

According to a report from Phuoc Long District Medical Center, while being treated there, Ms. D. continuously livestreamed and broadcast live on social media; her family members cursed and insulted the leaders of Phuoc Long District Medical Center.

Immediately after receiving the information, the People's Committee of Phuoc Long District directed the District Police and the People's Committee of Phuoc Long Town to be present at the Medical Center to propagate, mobilize and ensure security and order.

On the morning of August 23, Ms. D's family (about 15-20 people) continued to go to Phuoc Long District Medical Center to find the Board of Directors. Immediately after that, representatives of the District Police and Phuoc Long Town People's Committee promptly arrived, mobilized and ensured the situation.

Currently, security and order at the District Medical Center have stabilized. However, it is predicted that the situation will continue to be complicated in the coming time. The People's Committee of Phuoc Long District directed the District Medical Center to continue monitoring and treating, ensuring the health of Ms. D. At the same time, directed the District Police, relevant agencies and the People's Committee of Phuoc Long Town to closely monitor the situation to have timely solutions and directions, ensuring security and order at the District Medical Center.

Also according to the quick report, on August 21, the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Phuoc Long District received a complaint from Ms. D. The complaint accused Mr. TVS, Party Secretary and Director of the District Medical Center, of forcing labor, discriminating against and oppressing employees, and using untrained labor.

In addition, the petition also accused Mr. TVT, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Examination Department of Phuoc Long District Medical Center of "colluding" with the director, requesting to return Ms. D. to the Organization Department without reason. While Ms. D. did not commit any wrongdoing during the time Mr. TVT was assigned to this department.

"Because the complaint against Mr. TVS is under the management of the Standing Committee of Phuoc Long District Party Committee, the People's Committee of Phuoc Long District has reported to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee for consideration and handling. Currently, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has assigned the Inspection Committee of Phuoc Long District Party Committee to carry out the process of receiving and handling Ms. D's complaint in accordance with regulations," the report sent to the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province and the Department of Health stated.
