On February 8, the Department of Transport of Khanh Hoa province announced that it has temporarily suspended the operation of most subsidized bus routes in Khanh Hoa province during the 2024 Lunar New Year.
Accordingly, considering the request of passenger transport enterprises by bus to adjust the operating parameters of routes during the 2024 Lunar New Year, Khanh Hoa Department of Transport agreed to temporarily suspend subsidized bus routes from February 9 (December 30) to February 10 (the first day of Tet).
The North Hon Ong - Dien Son route (route code 01) will temporarily stop operating on the first day of Tet.
The temporarily suspended routes include: North Hon Ong - Dien Son route (route code 01); North Hon Ong - Thanh bus station route (route code 02); North Bus Station - Diamond Bay route (route code 03); Luong Son - Thanh bus station route (route code 04); Hon Xen - Hon Ro 1 route (route code 05-1); Hon Xen - Vinpearl bus station route (route code 05-2); South Bus Station - Luong Son route (route code 06).
The Nha Trang - Cam Ranh route remains open throughout the Tet holiday to serve the travel and entertainment needs of residents and tourists.
Passenger transport service time during Tet holiday has changed compared to normal days. On the 30th and 1st of Tet, Nha Trang - Cam Ranh buses pick up passengers from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm (December 30) and from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (New Year's Day).
From the 2nd to the 5th day of Tet (February 11 to 14), Nha Trang - Cam Ranh buses depart at 5:30 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.; inner-city bus routes operate from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
From February 11 (the 2nd day of Tet), bus routes will return to normal operation.
A representative of Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company (a passenger transport company) said that subsidized bus routes will be put into operation by the company from April 2022. The bus routes operate from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily with a frequency of 20-30 minutes/trip.
From February 11 (the 2nd day of Tet), bus routes will return to normal operation.
