On June 12, Korean media reported sad news about Park Soo-ryun. She had an accident and fell down the stairs on her way home on June 11. Immediately after that, the actress was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment but doctors said she was brain dead and passed away.
Actress Park Soo-ryun passed away at the age of 29
Family, friends, and fans were shocked by the sudden passing of Park Soo-ryun. Many colleagues expressed their condolences and tributes to the actress on their personal pages. In particular, actor Lee Won-jang wrote: "I can't believe it! She was young and worked harder than anyone."
Park Soo-ryun's family decided to donate her organs to those in need. Her mother shared: "She is only brain dead, her heart is still beating. Someone must be in need! As her parents, we will be able to rest assured that her heart is still beating rhythmically inside someone's chest."
Park Soo-ryun's coffin is at Suwon Hospital, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center and her funeral will take place on June 13.
Park Soo-ryun debuted in 2018 as a musical actress. She has been active in this field and participated in many plays: "The Days We Loved", "Siddhartha",... before starring in the TV series "Snowdrop".
