Improving legal access capacity in the fields of culture, sports and tourism

Attending the conference were representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the provinces: Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan; more than 250 delegates including representatives of the Steering Committee of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life and family work" of the provinces; representatives of specialized departments of the Department of Culture and Sports of Lao Cai province; Department of culture and information of districts, cities, towns; cultural officers of communes, wards, towns and some village chiefs in Lao Cai province.

Representative of the Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism delivered the opening speech at the conference.

The conference also disseminated and disseminated newly issued legal documents in the fields of culture, family, physical education, sports and tourism (Law on Cinema; Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence; Law on Emulation and Commendation; Law on Implementation of Democracy at Grassroots Level; Decree No. 61/2023/ND-CP dated August 16, 2023 of the Government on the development and implementation of village covenants and conventions of residential communities; Decree No. 76/2023/ND-CP dated November 1, 2023 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence...).

Provide guidance on skills to learn and exploit laws in the fields of culture, family, physical education, sports and tourism; provide guidance on building and implementing village covenants and conventions for cadres, civil servants and those who directly build and implement village covenants and conventions at the local level (including guidance on building and implementing village covenants of the Mong ethnic group).

In addition, it is necessary to propagate related contents on administrative reform (according to Official Dispatch No. 183/VP-KSTTHC dated April 5, 2024 of the Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on coordinating the implementation of administrative reform propaganda work).

The conference will also devote a lot of time for delegates to exchange, discuss, share experiences in implementing at the grassroots level and answer questions to better implement the improvement of legal access capacity at the grassroots level in the coming time.
