Through clinical examination and ultrasound, the patient was diagnosed with acute cholecystitis due to multiple gallstones and indicated for emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
During surgery, doctors noted acute inflammation of the gallbladder, distension, and edema. After nearly 1 hour, the laparoscopic cholecystectomy was successful.
Quite unusually, patient C's gallbladder contained more than 3,200 stones ranging from 1 - 5mm and many tiny stones. Currently, 2 days after surgery, the patient's health is stable, eating and living almost normally.

According to the patient's family, although he was diagnosed with multiple gallstones for over a year, he was afraid that gallbladder removal surgery would affect his health and ability to work, so every time he had pain, he only bought medicine to control it.
