Dinh Khao Ferry, located on Highway 57. This is an important ferry route that acts as a bridge between Ben Tre and Vinh Long, serving travel, transporting goods and development in the region.
In recent times, traffic jams have frequently occurred here. Especially in the days leading up to Tet, when truck drivers pass through Cho Lach, Ben Tre to transport flowers, ornamental plants and fruits to provinces such as Can Tho, Hau Giang, Ca Mau, Kien Giang.
This has led to serious traffic jams and congestion, with many drivers having to spend hours getting across the ferry.
The construction of Dinh Khao Bridge not only solves traffic congestion at Dinh Khao ferry but also contributes to improving and enhancing the exploitation capacity of National Highway 57, ensuring connectivity with the national highway and expressway system.
Besides, it shortens the travel time between Vinh Long and Ben Tre with other provinces in the Mekong Delta region, enhancing regional connectivity between provinces.
