Apple recently released the iOS 18.2 update, introducing several new Apple Intelligence features such as Genmoji, Siri ChatGPT integration, and Image Playground. However, there are still some artificial intelligence features that Apple has not introduced.
- Siri adds new features:
Apple is making some big changes to Siri in the near future and has outlined new features that will make Siri much more useful. Siri will be able to learn more about the user through the user's interactions and actions on the iPhone.
Siri can also do more in third-party apps, with in-app actions.
Siri can also use information available on the user's device to find things the user searches for.
The new Siri features are expected to arrive in iOS 18.3 or iOS 18.4 in 2025.
- Add sketch to Image Playground
Image Playground currently has two styles: animation and illustration, and Apple is expected to add a new style when Apple Intelligence is completed.
- Genmoji on macOS
Currently, macOS Sequoia 15.2 includes support for Image Playground, but Genmoji is not yet integrated. Apple is expected to add this feature in the next update.
- Priority notification
Apple is working on a feature that will show users the most important notifications first. Notifications will be prioritized to appear at the top of your notification stack.
- Add language
Apple will add more languages to Apple Intelligence in 2025, including: Chinese, English (India), English (Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The new language set is known to be available in a software update in April, possibly iOS 18.4. While iOS 18.3 could be released as early as late January.
