Invite students to perform Ao Dai to help them love their heritage more

Along with professional models, six 10th and 11th grade students from a school in Hanoi were selected to showcase their ao dai collections in the fashion show 'Colors of Heritage' which will take place on the evening of November 16 in Hanoi.

The information was shared by designer Chau Loan at the announcement of the Heritage Color fashion show on the afternoon of November 9.

This is a fashion show organized by the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board in coordination with a number of units on the evening of November 16 at the cultural space at 22 Hang Buom, Hanoi, to celebrate the Hanoi Creative Design Festival and the 19th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day.

The show will honor and introduce traditional Vietnamese cultural values through three ao dai collections by three domestic designers such as Chau Loan ( Net xua collection), Hang Nguyen (from Hanoi, Hoa sen collection) and Vinh Quang (from Ho Chi Minh City, with Non cao collection).

Deputy Head of the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board Tran Thi Thuy Lan said this is not only a fashion show, but also a journey to bring the public back to their cultural roots.

Because of the show's purpose of educating the younger generation about heritage, the organizers decided to not only invite famous models and beauties to perform fashion shows, but also invite students to perform with professional models.
