It is known that Miss Bao Ngoc will appear in an ao dai for the opening of the Miss Intercontinental 2023 Final night.
The design with white tone, depicts the image of the splendid Hue Imperial City. The ao dai has been studded with thousands of stones with more than 200 hours, contributing to honoring the luxury and opulence of the outfit with the cloak symbolizing power, majesty but no less gentle and elegant.
According to information from the Miss Intercontinental Organizing Committee, the 50th anniversary crown of the "Power of Beauty" contest will not be handed over to the successor, but instead the reigning MIC 2022 - Bao Ngoc will continue to hold the crown.
After receiving the information, Bao Ngoc's team collaborated with designer Chung Thanh Phong to come up with ideas for her Final Walk dress.
From the initial drawings through many exchanges and edits, the dress was finally born based on the motif of the crown and the name is also Power of Beauty.
Inspired by the detailed lines of the crown, the dress is sewn with a thin layer of sheer chiffon combined with thousands of white stones to create patterns like the pieces of a crown.
Although the dress is designed with a simple shape, designer Chung Thanh Phong said he chose stones with the most light-catching material, promising to make Miss Bao Ngoc extremely "sparkling" on stage in the moment of taking her final steps as Miss Intercontinental 2022.
With the main metallic design meticulously attached to create graceful lines embracing the beauty of Miss Bao Ngoc's body. The dress was made by the design team within 600 hours from the time the official sketch was made until the dress was completed.
At the crowning ceremony for the new Miss Intercontinental 2023, Bao Ngoc will wear a dress also from designer Chung Thanh Phong.
The special feature of the dress is the detail on both sides of the shoulder designed to symbolize power similar to the meaning of the Power of Beauty crown.
Inspired by the color of sunlight shining on the surface of the desert, creating sparkling golden sand strips. The dress has a main gold tone, studded with thousands of stone beads, combined with a large off-shoulder design to enhance the grandeur from behind.
The tight-fitting, discreet outfit gave Bao Ngoc an elegant look in the moment of crowning the new Miss Intercontinental 2023.
