Responding to the press, the leader of Tay Ho District People's Committee said that he had directed the district police to verify and strictly handle the case according to regulations. "If necessary, we can prosecute as a deterrent," the leader of Tay Ho District People's Committee emphasized.
The male shipper suffered multiple facial injuries after being assaulted.
Previously, at around 12:30 on February 10, a collision occurred between a motorbike and a car at 41B, lane 50, lane 310 Nghi Tam (Yen Phu ward, Tay Ho district). The minor collision did not cause any damage to the vehicle. The area of lane 50, lane 310 Nghi Tam street is a narrow alley.
Mr. NXH (31 years old, from Nhu Xuan, Thanh Hoa, delivery man) stopped his motorbike, waiting to pick up the goods and the invoice before delivering. Then, a Lexus car with license plate 30L-184.36 from alley 310 Nghi Tam entered alley 50 and collided with the motorbike.
At this time, the car driver rolled down the right passenger window and an argument broke out. The male Lexus driver got out to check the car, found no damage, and returned to the car. However, the argument continued between the people in the car and the male shipper.
The car driver immediately got out, turned back to where Mr. H was sitting on the motorbike, and beat him up. The car driver also kicked the male shipper in the face and used his helmet to hit him on the head. The victim used his hands to cover himself, not daring to fight back.
The incident only stopped when both the person in the car and the people in the alley intervened.
Initially, authorities determined that Mr. H had swelling in his right eye and the back of his head.
