More motivation thanks to the saying of the late People's Artist Hoang Dung
Actor Cong Vo is a familiar face to television audiences. He has appeared in many VFC films such as: "Taste of Love", "The Judge", "Spring Stays", "Storm"... The actor often plays gangsters, reckless people in criminal gangs.
Cong Vo's image on screen
In the program Confession, Cong Vo said that he came to acting by chance. During a club activity, he was chosen to play a small role without dialogue in the movie "The Judge". During filming, because his co-star could not speak, the director gave him the opportunity.
“At that time, I was happy because I was able to fulfill my passion and meet People's Artist Hoang Dung. My father (as he affectionately called me) told me: "Even a small role makes up the scene of the movie, so you cannot refuse any role". I always used that sentence as a guideline," he shared.
Although not trained in school, Cong Vo is highly appreciated for his acting, especially his diction.
Before entering the art world, he went through a difficult time, having to earn a living at a bus station. These were valuable experiences that helped him bring life's elements into his roles.
The actor said that one of the great motivations for him to be where he is today is thanks to the saying of the late People's Artist Hoang Dung: "Keep dreaming, it won't take you to the finish line but it will take you further than where you are standing."
Hard life behind the screen
Behind the screen, Cong Vo said that he was unlucky to be born into an incomplete family. His father worked far away, and he lived with his grandmother. Up to this point, he said his mother still did not recognize him.

In 7th grade, he dropped out of school to work because he felt like a burden to his family. This was a decision he regretted. His teenage years were spent working as a bus boy at the bus station to make a living.
Regarding the story related to his biological mother, the actor of Nguoi phan phan did not reveal it because he kept his promise to his deceased father. "Before he passed away, my father told me not to ask that question on television. So I asked permission not to ask because by now I already have the answer," he confided.
The actor's married life was not smooth. He was heartbroken when his child fell into the same situation as him. As a father, Cong Vo chose to be a friend to his child, not imposing but letting his child develop naturally.
He confided: "I feel pain when my child falls into the same situation as me. I once wrote: "I'm sorry, child. I don't know if it's because of me or fate, but this happened. I just hope you're healthy and forgive me for this," he said.
Cong Vo said he does not impose but lets his child develop naturally. The actor of "The Judge" affirmed that he has never spoken harshly to his child.
Cong Vo is grateful for the difficulties he has gone through because they have given him many lessons and motivation to strive to improve in life. "I hope my life will be normal now, without any more incidents," the actor confided.
