Accompanying the delegation were the Chairman of the Ethnic and Religious Advisory Council of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Ninh, Nui Thanh districts, Tam Ky city and Hoi An.
At the places visited, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged the important contributions of Buddhist dignitaries and followers to building the great national unity bloc in recent times. At the same time, it encouraged the dignitaries, with their roles and prestige, to continue to mobilize monks, nuns and Buddhist followers to respond and participate in activities welcoming the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels; promote the fine cultural and ethical traditions of Buddhism, well implement the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, actively respond to patriotic emulation movements, the movement of "eliminating temporary houses and dilapidated houses"...
On this occasion, the delegation sent wishes to the dignitaries, officials and Buddhists to celebrate the Buddha's birthday in peace and fulfillment in the great unity of the whole nation.
